What's Happening:
A New Collaboration

This spring Brookline Adult & Community Education and the Clay Center for Science and Technology are proud to collaborate in presenting stimulating lectures and classes in a stellar location. Located on top of the highest hill in Brookline, the Clay Center is a recently constructed five-story addition of classrooms and a high-powered observatory at the renowned Dexter and Southfield Schools. Dedicated to advancing astronomical research and education, this multi-purpose state-of-the-art building is home to a deep-space telescope capable of viewing stars, galaxies, planets, and satellites both day and night. Other exceptional features of the new building include a glass elevator, a solar/wind energy roof deck, high-tech computer labs, and a music lab designed for blending sound with technology.

¥ Free Tuesday Evening Tour of the Observatory and Viewing:
Come to the Clay Center Observatory on any Tuesday night and view outer space through a state-of-the art telescope. Reservations are not needed. Please check the Clay Center's website for time & weather/viewing conditions. www.claycenter.org

Dexter School/ Clay Center 20 Newton St. Brookline.
Driving Directions: From Rte 9, turn onto Lee Street (by the Brookline Reservoir). At the end of Lee Street is a traffic light. Take a left here on to Newton Street. Dexter School is about 1/2 mile down the road on your right. Watch for signs.
For the Clay Center: Take 2nd right through main gate (St. Paul's Avenue), travel up the hill, bear LEFT, over top of hill, and park on Athletic Center roof deck.
