Textbooks
Most textbooks can be purchased at Brookline Booksmith,
279 Harvard St., Brookline. Let the Booksmith staff know that you
are a BA&CE student and which course you are enrolled in and
they will provide the appropriate text. Books can also be ordered
from the Booksmith by phone with a MasterCard or Visa by calling

Refunds, Transfers, & Withdrawals
Before the start of class
We will refund your full tuition, or issue you a credit:
- In the event that your course is cancelled due to low enrollment.
- If the course you registered for is filled, we will place your name on a waiting list and refund your money.
- If you withdraw from a class at least 2 business
days (48 hours) in advance of starting time, you may request a refund minus a $10 processing fee.
- In order to recive a refund for your food or wine course or fee, or culinary tour, we must have
5 business days notice in advance of the starting time of the class.
On or after the first day of class
- You may transfer to any other class offered during the term prior
to the second meeting of the class you are dropping, provided that there
is space available in the class you wish to transfer to. No refunds
are given for price differences, but the additional amount can be applied
to another course in the same term.
- We regret that no refunds or credits can be granted on or after the
starting date of your class.
- No refunds or credits are given for rescheduled classes. The $6
registration fee is non-refundable unless we cancel due to low enrollment.

Inclement Weather
If public schools are closed due to inclement weather
during the daytime there will be no adult classes that evening. If weather
conditions become severe late in the day, cancellations will be announced
over local radio stations and a message will be posted on our phone system.
