Instructor Highlights - David Chapin
David Chapin has taught the
Real Estate Salesperson's Course at Brookline Adult & Community Education for over 10 years.
The course is taken not only by those seeking a license to sell real estate in Massachusetts,
but also by others interested in various aspects of real estate including buying,
selling and investing. David grew up in the Greater Boston area and graduated with an Economics
degree from Dartmouth College, where he also was captain of the Dartmouth Hockey Team.
He has been active in the real estate business for over 30 years, including 15 years as
marketing director for the Boston real estate firm, Niles Company. David is currently a
principal at Chapin Properties Team, a Brookline based real estate company. He concentrates on
investment property consulting, valuation and marketing as well as acting as buyer agent for
individuals seeking to buy real estate. In addition, David is a director of Brookline Bank and
a member of both the Real Estate Committee and the Executive Committee at the Bank. He is also
a director of Senior Living, a non-profit affordable housing organization, and an elected member
of the Board of Assessors in Wellesley. David thoroughly enjoys teaching at Brookline Adult
Education and values the relationships that have developed as a result of this experience.
