Cambodian (or Khmer) cuisine shares many flavors with neighboring Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam, but is generally less spicy than Thai food. Curries are very common, as are soup, stir fries, and coconut milk. In this course, we will learn to make (and enjoy) a variety of traditional Khmer dishes, which may include Nhuem (vegetable and noodle salad), Tirk Salouk Swai (mango salsa), Num Chao Gio (vegetarian spring rolls), Amok Trey ( curried fish steamed in banana leaves), and Salaor Machu Kreoung (hot and sour beef soup). A $15 food fee is included in the course fee.

Please note: Some courses may have an additional materials fee payable to the instructor that is not included in the total fee. Please contact the school for details.

Please be sure to read our Refund, Transfer, and Withdrawal policy before registering for a class.

A $6 registration fee is charged once per person per semester. This fee helps fund scholarships so that all can participate. The fee does not apply to courses of $15 or less.
