This course is for students who know some English and who have completed a basic English course. We will review and practice beginning grammar, dialogues, vocabulary, and comprehension. We'll review use of the present tense to talk and write about your habits and daily routine, and we will work on prepositions of place (this, that, these), infinitives, simple past tense (I ran), the verb to be, present continuous, and future tenses. The required textbook is available at the Brookline Booksmith.

Please note: Some courses may have an additional materials fee payable to the instructor that is not included in the total fee. Please contact the school for details.

Please be sure to read our Refund, Transfer, and Withdrawal policy before registering for a class.

A $6 registration fee is charged once per person per semester. This fee helps fund scholarships so that all can participate. The fee does not apply to courses of $15 or less.
