The Test of English as a Foreign Language is often necessary for entry into careers and higher education programs. This course, especially for high school students, is designed to give students the preparation they need for the exam. We'll cover the four sections of the TOEFL: listening comprehension, written expression, reading comprehension, and speaking. We will review grammar, writing, reading and listening comprehension, and sentence and paragraph structure. Plenty of time will be devoted to practice in using the most effective techniques to improve your TOEFL score. The required textbook is available at the Brookline Booksmith. Please note: Some courses may have an additional materials fee payable to the instructor that is not included in the total fee. Please contact the school for details. Please be sure to read our Refund, Transfer, and Withdrawal policy before registering for a class. A $6 registration fee is charged once per person per semester. This fee helps fund scholarships so that all can participate. The fee does not apply to courses of $15 or less. |
