Driver Education - evening (Sec. 02) Course Code: N019-02 Instructor: Giannone Meeting Days: Mon, Wed Dates: 9/20/10 until 11/10/10 Meetings: 15 Time: 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM Price: $62 Location: Brookline High School Limited to: 30 attendees Or call 617-730-2700 to register BY PHONE! According to Massachusetts state law, students are required to attend 30 hours of classroom instruction, 12 hours of behind-the-wheel training, and six hours of observation. Parents of high school-aged children must also attend a separate two-hour classroom training session. The Driver Education fee is $500. To be eligible for classroom instruction, students must have reached their 16th birthday by the start of the course. The in-class portion of the Driver Education Program is offered both days and evenings throughout the year. Students will be taught on cars with automatic transmissions. Administrative Fee: $62 (payable to the Town of Brookline). Instruction Fee: $500, payable to Pleasant Auto School. Upon successful completion of this course, students are responsible for an additional $105 in Registry of Motor Vehicles fees. A breakdown of these fees is available in the BA&CE office. Please note: Some courses may have an additional materials fee payable to the instructor that is not included in the total fee. Please contact the school for details. This fee helps fund scholarships so that all can participate. The fee does not apply to courses of $15 or less. |
