You may love a house on your first drive-by, but it pays to slow down and take a closer look. Has the owner taken care of the property? Is the home's exterior or roof showing signs of age? Learn how to evaluate the condition of important items such as a building's plumbing or heating system before you buy to avoid hidden expenses in the future. This course will help students spot potential problems such as a wet basement, termites, or structural damage. By viewing slides taken on actual home inspections, students will gain a better understanding of what to look for when viewing a home and how to assess its condition before making an offer to buy.
